Join Us Now to Protect the Future of Events

The Net Zero Carbon Events Pledge was launched at a special event at COP 26 in Glasgow. All companies in the events industry are invited to participate in the initiative. All you need to do is fill in the form below and indicated which category (or categories) your organisation falls into:

1 | Operator

If your company directly contributes to the production or delivery of an event – as an organiser, a venue, or a service provider.

2 | Supporting Association

For associations from the Events Industry representing companies who fall within category above and promote the initiative amongst their members.

3 | Partner

For all other stakeholders, including clients, suppliers and destinations.

Operators and Supporting Associations will become signatories of the Pledge, whereas Partners, due to the fact that they do not actively deliver events, will join as supporters.  Once you have joined you will be contacted with information on how you can participate in the development of the industry Roadmap.

Please note:

  • Companies whose core business is not events, but which organise events to support their activities, are invited to sign this pledge for that part of their business only: “Operator for the event department” for instance
  • Structures such as an event industry association or a media company that also organise their own events, may join under 2 categories.

The Roadmap will identify the commitments required for the reduction and neutralization of event-related GHG emissions. It will highlight those to be addressed both by the industry itself, including the value chain leading up to event delivery, as well as those to be addressed in collaboration with other related sectors such as hospitality and transportation that are an integral part of the overall event experience. It will include some “level settings”, to adapt to the reality of each region and/or size of organization.
